Strawberry Lane to Rotherwood Road (1.9 miles)
This is a delightful area for a short walk. Although quite close to habitation, it feels far away from the hustle and bustle of town life. The walk can be easily extended to take in Rossmere, Lindow Moss and Lindow Common, but it is lovely in its own right.
There are many sections of this walk where trees have formed beautiful long tunnels. There are lots of horses in the fields along the route.
Start the walk at the end of Strawberry Lane and follow the well marked footpaths along the route.
